Agricultural experts are predicting a significant increase in paddy cultivation across Prakasam district this season following favorable rainfall and improved water availability. Farmers in several mandals have already begun large-scale cultivation activities, expressing optimism about achieving higher yields compared to previous years.Officials from the Agriculture Department stated that adequate rainfall during the early stages of the season has improved soil moisture levels and created ideal conditions for paddy cultivation. Irrigation reservoirs and canals have also witnessed increased water storage, ensuring sufficient supply for agricultural operations.Agricultural scientists have advised farmers to adopt modern cultivation practices, quality seed varieties, and scientific water management techniques to maximize productivity.
